sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

Even as they fold and wither, as
the stem bends under the weight
of their beauty, the colours lose
their vibrancy, and petals fall with
time, flowers remain a miracle.
