well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.

Every single one of us
is trying, in some way,
to get where we need
to be.
Some of us are waiting.
Some of us are waiting
a little longer.
All
for all.
And

for allowing
the differences we see,
and those we do not.
Diversity. Acceptance.
Individuality;
differences we need
to be true.
Each of us.
Me
and you.
Nothing is singular,
Nothing is sacred.
Honesty
allows opportunity
to see, to believe
in the freedom to be
you.
And me.
Individually.
A step up.
A step ahead.
Keep
moving.

A love without compromise;
boundless, inerasable, evermore.
Acceptance; always. All ways.
Forgiveness: like prayers never could.
Perhaps never appreciated enough,
still, a mother knows. I believe
in a mother’s love, a love that grows
even in absence. Evermore.
I lost my Mother long ago, far too early,
by all accounts. I remember her smile.
I remember her voice, as if
it were yesterday, words of wisdom.
A spirit, now, that transcends place
and time. It was the purest love.
I remember, especially today.
Happy Mother’s Day.
