Month: July 2019
after all has been said
there remains far more to know
space
filled with
merely breath
a void
vacancy requires attention
it can hurt
it can heal
there is nothing more to say
silence
is a battle
it can become comfort
a path forward
will move in either direction
what guides you
what haunts you
shimmering light or silken shadows
do you hear the unspoken
forgiveness
do you care to know details
after all has been said

Do you hesitate saying the right thing, even though it is the right thing to say?
There are times when the existing state is simply existing, and that’s not always right, and it’s not always healthy keeping your opinions (or emotions) to yourself.
Don’t sacrifice your well-being just to maintain the status quo.
There is an imbalance if you feel the pressure of conformity. For true balance to occur, there much be equal weight on each side of the scale.
Unburden yourself.

Posted on July 8, 2019 by j.g.lewisLeave a commentIt’s a new day. Welcome to a new week.
Come as you are, flaws and all.
We’ve all got baggage — difficulties and issues that seem to follow us like breadcrumbs — and habits and unresolved problems. Sometimes they are of our doing, other times they are our undoing.
That’s the way it is.
That is the way we are: humble and human.
Often the trials and trickery we face simply needs time to sort itself out. Maybe this is the week you will take on a challenge you’ve been unable to deal with previously. Perhaps the circumstances over the next seven days will help you sort out the differences.
Or you will do nothing, and the concern will become less significant.
It’s far too easy to get caught up in the direction and dogma of the forces that surround you. What would happen if you ignored those others voices, and just followed your own dialogue?
Come as you are.
It could be a good day; it might be a great week.
Isn’t the choice yours?
