Month: August 2019
That feeling of being alive,
where do you find it?
Does it happen naturally, or
do you have to get creative?
What kind of fun
will you have today?
What will you do?
Where will you go?
Every day can be an adventure,
if that is what you choose.
How are you living your life?

the summer sun a tactile pleasure.
Perfect for a lazy day.
Find a spot with a little shade, or a
lot of sunscreen in direct light, and
relax with a book; allow your mind
to wander through, and your fingers
to caress, the pages of a mystery,
classic literature, trash fiction, or
memoir.
Delve into the emotion with devotion,
at your leisure. Find time for an old
favorite, or new romance. Touch the
pages, and let them touch you. Soak up
the words and let the feeling take you
through the weekend, and beyond.

to interrupt all that is
going on every day,
and find a moment
or two to deal with
only you?
All that other stuff,
and all those other
people, can just wait,
can’t they, for a while?
What could be more
important than you?
While making all the
lists and other plans
of all you have to do,
set aside a bit of time
explicitly for you?
