most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.

accepts the silence,

the soft, steady breath
of lovers
and dogs.
New Moon
shows as no moon can.
High resolution
darkness softening
hard edges
and difficult lives.
Here we are,
part of the silence,
immune to
time and temperature,
and words
once spoken.

You know the direction.
You know you have the motivation, the
strength and style to go the distance,
even though you are still so unsure of
the next destination.
Keep moving forward.

You might not have what it takes, or you may be overqualified, but it should not take away your desire to try and do what you want to do.
You may not get the results you intended, or you could be pleasantly surprised at what happens.
Either way, you will learn more by trying than by regretting that you didn’t make an attempt.
Go ahead.
