a daily breath...

A thought du jour, my daily breath includes collected and conceived observations, questions of life, fortune cookie philosophies, reminders, messages of peace and simplicity, unsolicited advice, inspirations, quotes and words that got me thinking. They may get you thinking too . . .

I'm like a pencil;
sometimes sharp,
most days
well-rounded,
other times
dull or
occasionally
broken.
Still I write.

you can change

When the path changes, you can change with it.
Where you are going is often not where you planned and you may not remember why; but you will remember the changes.

unspoken

after all has been said
there remains far more to know

space
filled with
merely breath

a void

vacancy requires attention

it can hurt
it can heal

there is nothing more to say

silence
is a battle

it can become comfort

a path forward
will move in either direction

what guides you
what haunts you
shimmering light or silken shadows

do you hear the unspoken

forgiveness

do you care to know details
after all has been said

Find The Time
Posted on July 8, 2022 by j.g.lewisLeave a comment

Every 60 seconds, someone in Canada needs blood.

The current blood inventory is below an eight-day supply. Canadian Blood Services needs a regular stream of committed volunteer donors to make, and keep, their appointments. It takes about an hour.

One hour of your time could save someone else’s life.

I gave blood last week and have already made my August appointment.

I give as often as I can.

Blood: it’s in you to give.

Can you find the time for someone else?
