Month: August 2024
We do what we do until we are comfortable doing it.
Uncomfortable, at first, it is a desire to realize our intention that pulls us through the process.
We try; we keep trying. Seeking satisfaction, we keep doing what we do. We may feel we are up to the task, but often wonder why.
Oh, the wonder of it all.
It takes a while to see results, but they are of less concern than the why and while it takes. It is doing more than seeing and being more than believing.
When it comes to anything, you need not ask yourself what you are doing or even why you need to do it. Instead, ask yourself what need it satisfies.

Moments when you ponder,
allow the psyche to wander,
another thought
will cross the time.
A question or fear,
however sublime, may
takes its place
among your earthly concerns.
Scant stanza of a poem you
might have heard in the confusion
of another day, sound enough
to consider anyway.
Decisions are formed with
subconscious intent.
What it means may not be
what was meant.

Our surroundings are altered, naturally, but do we notice as it happens or even reflect on what has happened after it all?
How much attention do we pay to what’s going on around us?
The ebb and flow of life itself; deterioration and destruction or the advancement and improvements within our self, our neighbourhood, or society itself. It all happens at once.
Over time, in our own time, day-to-day changes are barely noticeable, until we see what we have overlooked for far too long. If we take a moment to observe.
Don’t let the days, or the decades, simply pass. Take the time to notice.
Nothing is the same as it once was.
