Ten reminders from
last night’s lunar eclipse.
– Gravity has a role to play, and
each of us has a place in the
universe, but there are times
when things line up and, even
despite distance, the results
are astounding.
– Things take time, but if you are
patient, you will see results.
– You have to look up, or you
will miss a few miracles.
– There are 24 hours in a day.
Some days are brighter than
others, and sometimes clouds
get in the way, but you still need
to make the most out of every
hour. Time is finite; though your
enjoyment of time need not be.
– If you are going to stay up late,
make it worthwhile.
– Entertainment and amusement
is not always man made.
– Some times you just have to sit
and allow time to pass. You
cannot rush and, if you try not
to, you will enjoy the moments.
– Don’t expect things to be what
they are built up to be, accept
them as they are and see the
beauty that is there.
– A camera can capture the
moment, but your mind
holds the memory.
– Some things are worth waiting for.

night falls
night flows
through cracked windows
swiftly down familiar halls
filling vacancy daylight provides
night knows best
where darkness hides
skin rises with its motion
minds alive with lost emotions
lightheaded still
immersed in thought
night knows when
night knows not

“Let’s not forget that the
little emotions are the
great captains of our lives
and we obey them
without even realizing it.”
