Time is a contradiction,
a distinct barrier between
now and when, or fact and
trend. If it is not a signal,
then it will be a sign. It is
only time; time to waste
or to embrace as it is.
Nothing stops time, not
even the strongest mind.
In that way we are then
held hostage by the clock.
In other ways it is our
freedom to leave behind
the wrongs of time.
The clock on the wall, the
watch on your wrist,
always consistent and
never a twist, not naturally.
Time is what we will see,
in memory or reality.
