We seek comfort in all that is familiar.
We, for lack of words or without a sense of place, will step back into the habits which built our reality.
A room full of books will quiet my mind.
I have flown from Toronto. A Sunday afternoon and I am at the Winnipeg Millennium Library.
This is a familiar place. So often, in the past, I have come here with my laptop or notebook and have been consumed by the empowering library silence.
I used to spend vacant afternoons writing in this space.
A room full of books will quiet the time.
The library has inspired me in the past, and it is again.
Today is a day to be grateful for places and people who inspire. We can’t always get to them, but we know they are there.
Happy Thanksgiving. 10/09/2017 j.g.l.
