Climate change, the economy, gun violence, relationships — the pull and purpose of love — we seek simple solutions, sound bites, and readily-available answers to both current and historical problems and situations. It is our inherent need for a logical explanation to an inconsequential predicament. The thing is, answers are not always simple, available, or correct. We don’t realize it at the time, then become frustrated and turn our attention away from our concerns, as if pretending they don’t exist is a more reasonable approach. There is no need to ignore the situation, in fact, it is dangerous to do so. Keep looking for the answers, at all costs. You will not rest until you know why. You will not know why until you are open to the answers.
