Month: August 2019
What will you do today that
is different than yesterday?
Will you take tea, instead of
coffee? Will that be enough
to keep you awake through
the tribulations and trials
you will surely face?
Each day offers another
chance, a new voice, an
unfamiliar explanation to
the issues you have been
facing. Will you accept what
is offered, or challenge the
status quo?
Only you can decide, and
only you will know.

How is it working out for you?
Are you there yet?
Are you committed?
Are you close?
There’s that old adage: Close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades, and drive-in movies.
If you are not close, you are not even there.
Sadly, if you haven’t reached your goal, you are simply a wannabe. . . but that should not stop you, as long as you still want to be what you want to be.
You’ve got to put the work in, and that gets easier if you make the commitment.
What’s stopping you from committing to total commitment?

grandiose ideas, complex
theories, and the inherent
advice of multi-step programs
to guide us through this life.
Often we look to powers
greater than ourselves to
provide the answers we may
not understand.
Perhaps there is sufficient
knowledge in the words and
wisdom of simple thought.
Maybe we already know what
we need to do. Look within.
Start there. Keep it simple.
