All of a sudden we give up.

We yield to:
   lessons of the past
   mistakes made by others
and
   an inability to deal with
   our very own errors.

Doubt gives us a reason.

Is it the same to yield to
   a personal silence
as it is the voice of another?
What holds us back
   has more to do with fear
   than what we are afraid of.
