accepts the silence
appreciates
the soft, steady breath
of lovers
and dogs.
New Moon
hows as no moon can.
High resolution
darkness softening
hard edges
and difficult lives.
Here we are
part of the silence,
immune to
time and temperature
and words
once spoken.
