David Crosby has been a strong voice in my musical atmosphere for more than four decades.
   When I was 12 years old, the album 4 Way Street was left behind at our home after one of my brother’s parties and I became lured into the world of Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Through the years, more albums by the quartet, or solo albums by individual members, or in parings or trios would find their way into my ever-growing record collection.
    CSNY were all musicians that demanded attention because of the sound and the songwriting. Crosby, along with Graham Nash, provided the soaring harmonies on so many beautiful songs of an era.
   Sadly, this week, David Crosby passed away.
   His legacy remains. You can still hear it.
