What about today? 

Will it slowly fade into the hereafter, 

soon to become another yesterday?

   Or is there more to be revealed 

   as the day unfolds and 

   we will learn invaluable Iife lessons 

   unknowingly?

     What will become of 

bygone days, mornings of loneliness, 

and the effort expended as we attempt 

     to heal hardships 

     or slight misfortunes certain 

     to stain our memory.

Are we benefactors of our experience, 

or victims of the time?
