think about

       how you treat one another

         and another      and another

 

             truly

                     think about it

 

   peace will not happen on its own

 

         limited time and too many lives

       will not prove otherwise

 

   we still have not learned

   nothing has been earned

 

     crisis after crisis

   world-wide        localized

 

         realize

 

     we are not blind to

     injustice and ignorance

           or political will

 

world peace starts with you

     and you      and you

 

             and you

               think it through

 

   let’s make today more than a why

 

         decide      right now

   it is worth a try

 

     we are not damned if we do

     but damnation continues

     if we don’t
