Mythos & Marginalia

life notes; flaws and all

a daily breath

  • think a little more

    Chances.
    We take them every day,
    but seem to think about
them less than we do, or
    more than we will admit.

    Chances.

We take them all the time.

    Think about it.

    Think a little more.

Don’t leave it all to chance.

  • a little moonlight

    the moon is there
    it is always there
    different each time
    you look
    you stare
    i don’t know where
    you are
    or if you looked up
    like before
    but I hope
    last night
    a little moonlight
    slipped under
    your door

  • again

    exhale

    inhale

    feel it
    through your veins

    each breath
    we take
    is

    a
    new opportunity

    inhale

    in a moment

    another chance
    gone as

    another chance

    arrives

    exhale

    again

    feel it

    alive

  • cloud songs

     Searching for reasons.
           Why?
                 When?
It is not finding the time,
         but finding
             the space. Physically,
    emotionally beyond a trace
    of the humanity you know
       is there and has been
       all along.
            Still you search.

  • an understanding

Art does not need to be understood as much as it needs to be created. For the moment art is conceived, captured, or undertaken, there is more than an understanding. There is a will.

Creation, in any form or media, demonstrates ideals and vision, its satisfies curiosity and proves a worth greater than any material possession.

Without question, art stands on its own. The statement it makes — however elementary or complex — does not need to be appreciated as much as it simply needs to be.

Art is like breath, it happens organically and is required for life to continue moving forward.
