    You never know all
    you need to know, or
    why, but how do you
    know what is right?
    Do you want to know
    or need to know?
    How do you know?

    Graffiti,
    now, like poetry, it means
what you want it to mean.
    You might not notice.

  • What Catches Your Attention?

    I’m on Pinterest.
Actually, I’ve been on Pinterest for quite some time, I’ve just never been as consistent, or organized, or as committed as I intended when I signed up a few years ago.
I’d add photos and content, in fits and starts, in random periods. I even forgot about it for a while, but realized yesterday that I had added more than I thought, over time.
    There’s a lot to see.
    Pinterest is inspiring.
    What catches your interest?
I post photos, quotes, poetry, journaling info, stuff from my website, or things that catch my attention.
    My user name is jg_lewis
    Come and have a look.
    What do you post?
I’d love to see your pins and boards. Send me your user name. Let me know what captures your imagination.

  • Trust That It Is

Trust is a give and take word, and not one to be taken lightly.
In any relationship or encounter you give trust, or allow trust, often in the moment; many times without thought. You, in effect, trust yourself to trust others.
You take trust at face value. Trust is, or should be, reciprocal. We trust that it is.
       Are we too trusting?
Trust is earned. Trust cannot be replaced.
Trust can be taken away as easily as it is given.
To trust is to give of yourself without compromise.
It takes trust. It takes time.
       Don’t give up.
       Trust yourself.

  • Mondays are just young Fridays

    This day is different than
    it was yesterday.
Today always is, as will be
    tomorrow. It is constant;
    change always is.
    As much as things change
    and will continue to change,
we count on the things we
have and the people we are
    with for our comfort.
    They change. We change.
    We adjust to the changes.
    We have to. We’ll change
    with the changes.
We always do; we have to.
    Action or reaction, change
    is change. Embrace it.
    We are the change.
