or the timing
wrong as it may be
for spiritual awakening
or connectivity

how old the stories
a question of time
we know not the self
even less the divine
personal reflection
spiritual connection
each of us only
left an impression

we know the stories
those we are told
little evidence remains
nothing so bold
we ask for redemption
on convenient terms
know only strength
from our sins learned
