   Waiting, and the wanting,

continues… for a day, an event,

         a possession or possibility.

What are we doing, if not waiting

     for, if not wanting, something

         to have, to happen, or

         to hold us accountable?

            Why are we waiting?

keeps coming back

For weeks, it seems, the dandelion has graced our city with its resplendent colour brightening our days.

Overnight suddenly, but not unexpected, this prolific weed then takes steps to further spread its joy.

The here-today-gone-tomorrow presence of the dandelion is a quite remarkable. Despite our efforts to remove the weed from our landscape, it keeps coming back.

A dandelion is a powerful symbol of the cycle of life as it marks spring and early summer, naturally goes to seed, and keeps coming back. Year after year. The dandelion’s return, like its colour, is a reminder of perseverance.

trying to hold on

Days flow into nights, thoughts

wrapping around the moment,

seemingly trying to hold on to

what was or could be.

The past presents itself.

At times you forget the why,

but not the who. Other times

you are not sure of what to do.

The thoughts, however, continue

to absorb the mind, all the time.

truth & honesty

Be honest.
Speak your truth, and
say what you mean.
It is easy to say, but
can be hard to do.
It’s difficult at times to
put the right words
into the proper context,
or speak freely.
Or honestly.
Often there is concern
over how you will be
seen, or heard, or believed.
Truth is, at times, not
easy to hear, and it can be
even harder to say.
Sometimes you might feel
it is not enough, because
the truth can be so simple.
Honest.
You may feel that
truth is not enough, but
it is everything.
The hard truth can hurt,
the whole truth can be
hard to swallow, and
the real truth can heal.
Be truth.
Breathe your truth.
Breathe honesty,
and
breathe it honestly.
