Clothes don’t make a man, but
new clothes do make a man happy.
I bought myself a new shirt, just
because I saw it. I didn’t really
need it, but it called out to me.
It wasn’t even true retail therapy.
Of course, it fit properly and, of
course, it felt good, so I bought it.
Just like that.
The price was right (it was even
on sale). The new shirt provides
a little colour and vibrancy in a
season where shades fade daily.
A new shirt brightened my day
and, presumably, it will light up
many more to come. It is all
about feeling, more than fashion.
