Woodstock — An Aquarian Music Exposition: 3 Days of peace & music — began 50 years ago today.
I was too young to attend, and too young to comprehend what was happening at the time, but grew up in the shadow of the bigger-than-expected event. More than 400,000 people attended the festival, perhaps the pivotal moment of a generation seeking change.
We remember the artists and the music, but do we remember the spirit of the event?
