leaves space for constant
interpretation; considerable
introspection. Original
thought and emotion comes
from a discipline requiring
more consideration and
less time. Think about it.
Could poetry be therapy?

letters and words

Can we emphasize or categorize
thoughts, events, predicaments.

Statistics are only numbers, and
stories require letters and words.

Mindful of details or laden lore,
counting dreams we’ve had before.

Narratives should involve accurate 
accounting of all thought possible.

truth & honesty

Be honest.
Speak your truth, and
say what you mean.
It is easy to say, but
can be hard to do.
It’s difficult at times to
put the right words
into the proper context,
or speak freely.
Or honestly.
Often there is concern
over how you will be
seen, or heard, or believed.
Truth is, at times, not
easy to hear, and it can be
even harder to say.
Sometimes you might feel
it is not enough, because
the truth can be so simple.
Honest.
You may feel that
truth is not enough, but
it is everything.
The hard truth can hurt,
the whole truth can be
hard to swallow, and
the real truth can heal.
Be truth.
Breathe your truth.
Breathe honesty,
and
breathe it honestly.

familiarity

Home is a place you come home to.

No matter how long you are away you are welcome, and welcomed by the familiarity

You never simply visit your home; it is a part of you, as you are a part of it.

Home is always there for you, no matter how long you stay away.
