Layers of disappointment, deceit, and dubious inaction continue to deepen.
   Daily we struggle, surfacing occasionally from the torment of one issue or another, only to find ourselves facing yet another challenge.
   And still, we keep moving forward.
   Our lives, as always, do not follow a singular path and are strengthened by the trials and tests we face every damn day.
