I have been for a while.
Possibly, maybe, I have
never been complete, yet
I am whole
in ways only
my fractured self
can comprehend.
Look within.
It is more comfortable
to understand your self
than to be misunderstood
by others.
Truth.
The whole truth.

Mondays are just young Fridays

When you start again tomorrow, when does that tomorrow start? Is it first thing in the morning and will you do it with all your heart? Or will you think about it all afternoon and question whether it is truly the time to begin? Is today really that tomorrow you were thinking of? If you skip it is it even a sin? For motivation do you need a kick in the ass or just a gentle shove? You do seem to remember it was an activity that you loved. Is this really the day you promised yourself, or Wednesday or another day; some other time it seems. Is this the tomorrow in the calendar or the tomorrow of your dreams?

cloud songs

     The night keeps to itself,

hides its details. Your senses

                        must be sharp.

The day is more brazen, it is

   what it is, becoming as

      obvious as confusing.

Day or night, you notice when

     one meets the other it is

      at its beginning or its end.

your own context

Clarity takes time and acceptance.

We may struggle to understand each facet of daily life as it is presented to us; life itself moves far too swiftly. How often are we permitted the space and reality to consider what it has done to us, or what we are doing with it.

Life is one big concept. It changes, as we do, at times with no notice. How can we comprehend the capacity of our own timeline when variables continue to inflict unknown control?

This is life; at its core there is indelible authenticity. Find your own truth, first and foremost. By understanding your own context, you will be more capable of dealing with that of others.

It can be daunting. Radical acceptance becomes more crucial than radical thought.
