It’s only a word. 
  One word, and often it is the
first you speak to someone, 
anyone, even a stranger. 
  It is a useful word, for it can 
be a welcoming word, or one 
of acknowledgement.
  It is a word that only asks the 
same, and is easily satisfied. 
  It is accepting of a simple 
response or, with a hello, you 
never know where it will lead, 
or how far it can go.
  We could all use another hello.
