A frustrating day for me yesterday.
To recall the details is to repeat the aggravation that resulted in failure.
I’ve been working on a project, or process, that involves learning a new style; reworking what I know into something new. Learning is important; something new is inspiring
I’ve been proceeding on this path for weeks now, learning as I go. My understanding is limited and can only be strengthened by trying to comprehend the little details as I embark on this process.
Yesterday I felt I was stalled, even moving in reverse. The things I thought I had soaked in were not coming back to me no matter how I tried.
Instead, in the confusion of it all, I simply gave up
There comes a time when you begin to believe you are wasting your time. I knew I was not but felt, then, that I was. The learning curve seemed to be moving in the wrong direction.
I thought, then, the best direction was to stop.
I will not let this get me down; I’m not good with failure.
I will go back at it this week with fresh eyes and new intent and try to make progress a better part of the process.
