  • This

    This
    is where you are
    and who you are
    right now.
       This
             will change,
         it always does,
    but this is where
    it starts.
            This. Is. Now.

  • Anxiety

    Indecisive indecision
    anxiety    realistically
    difficult
                         to believe
                    as it courses
    through thoughts you
    don’t want
                        to possess

    but you do

    rather it possesses you

                 Breathe it out
         breathe it through
    a decision you make
            and not one
    made for you

        Overwhelming
    apprehension    doubt
                 distrust
           uncertain tension

       Anxiety comes in all
                  colours
            and dimensions

  • True Meaning

It was my Mother who taught me how to love.
She showed me the true meaning of the word.
Although she is no longer with me, I find it hard to think of her in past tense.
I feel her love every day.
       How could I ever forget?
       Happy Mother’s Day.

  • gr@ffiti

    Unknown unexpected
    Entirely unimaginable

    Ask yourself questions
    Previously unconsidered

    Too often we neglect
    A challenge to the soul

    To clarify your values
    To realize the answers

  • by hand

    A new month.
A new notebook; fresh pages for fresh thoughts (or new concerns over continually considered contemplations), and a newly sharpened pencil too.
I find that when you write by hand, you purposefully set out the time and the place. In doing so, with pencil or pen, you are using the whole of your hand rather then just the tips of your fingers. You become more physically engaged in your writing. You can feel the writing instrument between your fingers and hear the pencil’s hearty scratch as it meanders across the page.
It is fulfilling in some small, miraculous way.
       You can see the results.
You are actually watching thoughts leave your body and come to rest on the page.
Where will your thinking take you today?
