We watch, we wait, we
wonder. We simply do
not understand evil of
this magnitude.
How can we?

The situation changes,
your mind changes and
your views of the news
will change over time.

Easy is not hard. Easy is easy, how tough can it be?
Too often, too many people get by trying to take it easy. In the process, they never really see how far they can go or how much they can do.
What’s the challenge in that?
Do what is required.
Keep doing what is difficult.
Life is not always easy.
Prepare yourself.

For as long as I can remember, there is a song that plays loudly in my head every time the images of any war-torn country flash across the television screen or scream from a newspaper page.
The song poses both a question and the answer in its call and response refrain.
War (What is it Good For?)
Originally released by The Temptations in 1969, it was made famous by Edwin Starr in 1970.
More than a song, this is a statement from the Vietnam era that, sadly, is as relevant today as it was then.
The song plays on.
War rages on.
People die, humanity is lost, and we still wonder what we can do about it.

By mission,
misdirection,
or mistake,
this became
your destination.
Millions of people
don’t have a choice
where they end up.
Think about it.
You are here.
What are you
going to do
about it?
